General Music

  • Welcome to the Vista Peak General Music homepage!

     
    This marks 7 1/2 years for the music program here at Vista Peak, and I am excited to be able to offer music class to all of our students in grades K-6 and select students grades 7-12.
     
    Students will attend music class on a rotating schedule with their home classroom, and will engage in many music activities such as singing, playing musical instruments, and movement and dance, as well as learning about the elements of music, like notes and rhythm, melody and harmony. Students will also learn about the various musical instruments, the different music genres, and musical composers and artists.  
     
    Most of all, I want music to be a fun experience for everyone, and something that each child will continue to learn about and enjoy for the rest of their lives.
