Mrs. Sharon Duckwiler
Hello! My name is Sharon Duckwiler. I am originally from northwest Indiana where I completed my undergraduate studies at Purdue University. Following graduation, I worked as an SLPA in a preschool for two years before heading off to graduate school at The University of Northern Colorado. I began my professional career in Arizona in the pediatric outpatient setting and then moved to the pediatric inpatient rehab/acute settings soon after. I have been a medical SLP for the past 15 years and am excited to embark on this new adventure!
On a personal note, I have been married to my husband Dave for the past 15 years, and we have two daughters who are in the Deer Valley School District. In my free time, I love to golf, hike, shop, travel, and watch my kids get involved in sports. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
I have a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), AZ Department of Health Services SLP license, Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS).
