Hello! My name is Tracie Lease and I am so excited to be a part of the West Wing community this year! I recently moved from Washington State with my husband and our youngest of our five children. Two of our children graduated from Grand Canyon University and we fell in love with AZ on our visits and knew we wanted to make it home for this stage of our life. I really enjoy trail running and I look forward to exploring many trails in this beautiful state!
I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education K-8, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I have thirteen years teaching experience in Washington State with four years as a primary classroom teacher and nine years as a physical education teacher K-8 and head of the PE department. I was also a foster parent for ten years and adopted two children from overseas. My life experience and work have given me a great love and skill set to work with students with special needs. I look forward to being the SPED service coordinator for 3rd and 4th grade this year! I am so thankful I get to work with the staff, parents and students at this amazing school!
