    Welcome to 6th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies

    Hello! I am Ms. Dixon and welcome to 6th grade ELA and Social Studies! I am so excited for the 2024-2025 school year. Here is some general school information.     School starts at 8:45 and students will eat breakfast in the classroom. It is very important to make sure students are there on time; if they arrive after 8:45, they will be marked as late.

    During the day, students will be switching classes between Mrs. Gupta and I. She will teach math and science while I will teach language arts and social studies.

    School ends at 3:30. Most Fridays will be early release days when students will leave at 2:00 (90 minutes early). These days are marked on the school calendar, but if you are unsure, you can always reach out to me or to the front office.
